Pinzolo
Surrounded by the Adamello and Presanella mountains, the tiny town of Pinzolo is a popular Italian tourist ski resort during the Winter months. With an altitude of about 785 meters, Pinzolo is equipped with modern day ski lifts and facilities. Visitors may also go to enjoy a bit of snowshoeing. It is also host of many ski events and ice skating competitions. The resort is perfect for beginners and has runs at medium level difficulties, but it is also good for more advanced skiers looking to improve and enjoy the slopes.
Even with its modern day flair, Pinzolo also holds its folk culture and history close and tries to maintain local traditions and festivals such as the Trato Marzo, a big celebration of the town with fires, song, and folklore..
