The Dolomites

The Dolomite mountains, also referred to as the Dolomites, are a mountain range in the northeastern part of Italy. Their magnificent jagged spires are truly a site to behold. They are sometimes called the “pale mountains” because of the way their white rocks appear during both the dawn hours and again at dusk.

The Dolomites  provide some of the best skiing in all of Europe. and many say the best skiing in the Dolomites can be found in the Val di Sole and the Madonna di Campiglio ski areas.
